What holidays are included in the subscription?

Holidays that are included are Memorial Day in May, Independence Day in July, Labor Day in September, and Veteran's Day in November.

What subscription options do you have?

We offer two options: a 1-year subscription for $55, or a 2-year subscription for $95. We also accept donations. Paying for your subscription with cash or a check—either by mail or in person—gives you a $5 discount.

What if I purchase the US Flag Subscription mid-year?

Accepted Answer

Your service will start on the next flag holiday and continue until you receive 4 flag installations. Online subscribers must have their subscription paid seven (7) days prior to the upcoming holiday to guarantee flag placement.

Where will my flag be placed?

Accepted Answer

We will drive a 4-foot steel rebar approximately 6 inches into you lawn, about 2 feet back from the curb. We then slide the flagpole onto the rebar. This creates a firm base that is durable for one day, and that can be easily removed with minimal impact to your lawn.

Can I choose where the flag is placed in my yard?

We will try to place your flag in line with your front door, about 2 feet back from the curb. If you would prefer a different location, please indicate this on your order form. If you have irrigation or an electric pet fence that will be affected 2 feet back from the curb, please indicate this on your order form so we can be aware of it. ​

How long will the flag say in my yard?

Your flag will be placed in your yard before 8am and will be picked up at 7pm. Sometimes, we might place your flag the night before, weather pending.

Question 7

What if there is no flag in my yard on the expected holiday?

Accepted Answer

Occasionally, a yard will get missed. If this should happen, please email us at unioncitybands@gmail.com to let us know, and we will get a flag out to you ASAP! Should this not happen in a timely fashion, we will extend your subscription to include 5 holidays.

How do I renew the service for another year?

We will send you an email to offer you the option to renew for another year. Simply print the form and mail it in with your check, or register online at unioncitybands.com.
